The elevator control system hardware consists of the car operating panel, hall door signal, PLC, frequency converter, and speed control system. At the same time, the inverter also transmits its own working status to the PLC to form a two-way communication relationship. The system is also equipped with a rotary encoder and a PG card that are coaxially connected with the motor to complete speed detection and feedback, forming a speed closed loop and a position closed loop. In addition, the system must also be equipped with a braking resistor. When the elevator is decelerating, the motor is in the state of regenerative power generation, and it feeds back electrical energy to the frequency converter to suppress the increase in DC voltage.

The elevator system is a six-story and six-station system. The former adjusts the output voltage of the generator by adjusting the excitation of the generator, so it is called the thyristor excitation system. The latter uses a three-phase thyristor rectifier to change the AC into a controllable DC, and supplies the speed control system of the DC motor, eliminating the need for a generator set, thus reducing the cost and making the structure more compact. The DC elevator has more equipment, The maintenance is more complicated and the cost is high, so it is often used in high-rise buildings with high speed requirements. It has the characteristics of good comfort, high leveling accuracy, fast elevators with speeds of 1. 5-1.75m/s and 2.5— High-speed elevator of 5m/s.
